k, I'm not gonna lie, I was super duper stocked for the Britney show...and for the most part I had a great time.  We were back in the igloo bar thingy and Lynne Spears came up with the kids with some gigantic body guard.  Pretty cool though...I'm sippin' my beer and my promotions director says "hey...there goes Lynne Spears".  I laughed it off, thinking he was joking....not so much! 

As for the show...I thought the PCD did a great job, Nicole...actually sang, and has a killer voice.

Britney....eh.  First off, everyone knew she wasn't actually singing...which is fine, whatever...Brit's not the best singer in the world anyway...but you're paying to go see a SHOW right?!  Britney's moves. 

All in all, I wasn't that impressed...I thought her circus acts did better than she did.  All she really did was change her clothes 982098234 times...so what.

Maybe I'm just bitter.  What'd you think of the show?

It's happened...the worst possible thing ever!  But...it feels so good!

My pee pee likes other pee pee's now.

I guess it was just a matter of time really.  Last weekend the sexy lady and I ordered "Twilight"  on demand.  Hell, everyone had been talking about it and going nuts...I figured...why not, right?  Not knowing what the future would hold.

First of, let me say...the movie is AWESOME.  If you haven't seen it, don't be like me and assume it sucks because it's about vampires...and that's weird.  It's actually more of a chick flick with some dudeness to it.  It's like if Die Hard and Serendipity had a child.  Or...if Full House, adopted a child from Madonna.

So...after the movie, I had to find out what happened next.  I hate waiting.  So I went out and bought the book!  EVEN BETTER THAN THE MOVIE!  "New Moon"...which I think will hit theatres sometime next year...awesome so far.  If you can read...buy it, rent it...whatever.  It's well worth the money.

Any other Twilight freaks?!  Let me know what else I might be missing

Dear Mother Nature,

You're a bitch.  You PMS more than anyone I've ever met.  Sometimes you're super hot...and you make me want to do bad things to you....things that involve me being naked...with vix vapor rub all over my body.  Then, othertimes....you're cold, and ugly and you make me want to treat you like R. Kelly treats underage girls.

I just don't understand...I thought we were fine.  More than fine, I thought we had a future together. Do you remember about 6 or 7 months ago when we laid out on the roof together?  Or that time we were naughty at Kennywood?  You were so hot then.

And now, I can't help but feel like...you're slipping away from me.  I can't help but feel like you must be seeing another!!  Let's face the facts...you've been toying with me lately.  Like a week ago...80 degrees.  Two days later, 22?!?!?!?!  What is that about?  Are you trying to hurt me?!  Why?!  I recycle!

Now, worst of all...you've made me sick.  It's hard to sleep, I have the sniffles, and I feel like I'm going to hurl.  That's how much I love you!  You've literally made me sick to my stomache!!!!  Can't you see I'm here for you....through thick and thin!?!?  Like that kid from Home Alone and Michael Jackson...nothing will keep us apart...and it'll be OUR little secret!  Just...please...be hot again!

What's Aching To Crawl Out Of Your Closet? (Sexual Preference??)

What are you aching to pull out of your closet?  The need to make out with someone of the opposite sex?  Oh no...wait...that's David Schwimmer.  (Oh come on...you know its true!!). 

Anyway...if you don't know already...I'm obsessed with clothes, shopping, and just fashion in general.  My girlfriend takes me shopping with her constantly, because she knows I'll tell her if she picks up a dress that'll make her look like an art teacher on clay making day.  Long story short...I LOVE FASHION!

One of my favorite times of the year has to be Spring/Summer...because every year there's some new fashion enigma.  Something completely left field that I just friggin love.  Last year for guys the plunging v neck tee.  Girls...the leggins and the return of that retro look.

So what's it gonna be this year?  What are you dying to pull out of your closet?  Still dunno mine...I went through it the other day trying to plan....whataya think of a skinny tie with a regular tee, instead of a button up collar....ya like?

Neighbor From Hell!

How was your weekend?!  I had a FANTASTIC weekend for the most part.  My parents came up from B.F.E. North Carolina to visit me for the first time since I moved to Pittsburgh.  We did Primanti's, Quaker Steak, etc...the usual.  GOOD TIMES and GREAT EATS!  Hahah!

The only bump in the road was my ridiculous neighbor.  OK...so to give you a little back story...I live in Regent Square...in one of those huge, victorian type houses.  And the bottom floor is hers, the 2nd and third floors of the house are mine.  So, naturally, there are two entrances.  You walk in the front door and then there is a door to your left....and a door straight ahead.  The one on the left is hers and the one straight forward...obviously, mine.

Each door has a light just outside with a switch...to turn on so you can see when you come home at night.  Well for about 2 months now she's been turning on my light...and then leaving it on all night...and of course I never notice until I leave for work the next morning.  ANYWAY, so I started getting a bit upset because...even though I'm sure it's not a ton of damage, I still am paying for this light being on all night long.

So, I turned it off and put a piece of duct tape over the switch so she couldn't turn it on anymore.  Two days go by...no biggie...everything seems good.  UNTIL....

This weekend...my parents and I come home from our dinner at Primanti's...and my light bulb...is COMPLETELY GONE!!!  She unscrewed it and stole it!!! WTF....who does that?!?!?!?!  Turn on your own effin light...what is wrong with you?!

At this point, I was so ridiculously mad...I couldn't believe it.  So...naturally I unscrewed her light and put it back in mine.  Went out and bought a pack of light bulbs and put them on her door step with a note "here ya go...a pack of light bulbs for your lighting pleasure.  please, enjoy these instead of mine".

BOOM!  Prolly not the smartest, or most mature thing that I've ever done, but seriously....who steals a light bulb!?  Hahaha...have you ever had a neighbor from hell?  share your stories!

Apparently Guys Are Hot........F My Life.

 

OK....So this is my life.  A couple weeks ago I went to McFAddens on the north shore for one of Flick's club nights...they do this "fashion show" where girls walk around on the bar looking all slutty....I was drunk out of my mind (the first bad life choice). 

Well, there was this one girl that walked by that was....absolutely friggin gorgeous (see where I'm going with this).  Flick and I both said to each other "WOW....she's hot!!!".  That was the end of it...orrrrr....so I thought.

So I come into work today (Friday) for the Britney Stupid Circus Tricks Ticket contest with Buckhead and Bubba in the morning.  One of the acts was a gay male who can do the splits in heels.  Well...while making small talk with the boys...apparently he says "Yea, I remember Coop...he was at McFaddens that one night, him and Flick said I was super hot!".

now don't get me wrong....I have no problem with homosexuals....rock on, whatever makes you happy...I completely support.  Hell, I even support gay marriage...if two people are in love, they should be together and have the same rights as you and I.  But............dammit!  HAHA.

TAN TOWELS....ARE....THE ISH!!!!!

 

Ok....seriously....This is the best thing ever invented.  I was looking at one of our sister radio stations websites and one of the chicks working there was talking about these Tan Towels...how awesome they were, etc....so I decided...what the hell why not try it out.  I bought them yesterday, and applied it today....no joke...ALREADY...a huge difference!  They are pretty cheap too...the box is $20 at any ULTA store...it comes with 5 packs inside...you wipe them on your body obviously and in about 4 hours....darker!  Ridiculous!  Not organge or streaking or anything like that...just a darker tan!  NUTS!!!!  Seriously, try it out for yourself...I'll post some before and after pics in a week or so to show you how good it actually works.

Anyone Else Shocked By American Idol Last Night?!

 

Say What?!  Alexis Grace voted off of American Idol last night.  I mean, sure her last two performances weren't fantastic....but they weren't as bad as Michael's.  I thought his Garth Brooks song was awful....compared to everyone else that was on....this completely shocked me!  I thought she'd stick around for a few more weeks.  What are your thoughts?  Did you think she'd get voted off?

COME SAY HI TONIGHT @ DIESEL!!!! (10P - MIDNIGHT)

 

I'll be hangin' out at Diesel tonight between 10 and Midnight.  If you're like me...hump day is a perfect night to just "get away" hahah...from the boss, from the stress, from the economy, blah....all of that bs.  Diesel is the best place to do it.  I have such a blast when I'm there...if you like to dance your booty off....they have a gigantic dance floor and if you like to kick back and hang out with friends and have some drinks, there's plenty of seats and couches for you to kick back on and hang out.  Just make sure you come say hi when you get there.

PS - Next Wednesday night....Britney Spears tix when you come to Diesel!  NO JOKE!

ANOOP DOGG!!!! IS BACK!!! (My Idol Addiction Part 1)

 

I'm going to be honest....I'm completely obsessed with American Idol this season....more than any season before, and I don't care what anyone says, I think this is by far...the best cast they've had yet.  There are so many talented people...and I've said from day one I think Adam Lambert will win...just because he's unique and his vocals are insane, plus he's got "the x factor"....know what I mean?

Having said that....I'll admit I'm a big country music fan...and he absolutely murdered "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash, and turned it into some sort of....weird song that made me feel like I should be tripping on mushrooms or something to enjoy it, ha!

BUT...my fav of the night BY FAR was Anoop Desai!  Who I thought was ridiculous from the beginning, and I'm glad they gave him a second chance.  He seems ilke the kind of guy you'd wanna go out and get trashed with, ya know?  But at the same time, has an incredible voice...he showed off last night!

K, now...who do I think will get voted off?  Toughy...because I don't think Adam will get voted off even though he was the worst last night.  So...here's my pic:

Why?  Because the only reason he's been put through is because he's a likeable guy.  Yes, he has a decent voice...but nothing even close to the rest of the group...and last night he killed that Garth song...I agree with SImon, I couldn't even understand a word he said.  I think he seems like a great guy, but with everyone else bringin' the "A" game...he's gone tonight on Idol.

PS - There's a website called dialidol.com that predicts who will get voted off, based on busy signals during voting.  I always check it out, just to see if they agree with me, haha.  I'm a COMPLETE loser, I know!
